I would prefer to be my own boss.

Advantages of being my own boss

1.       When the business starts to make profit I will not have to share it.

2.       I can make decisions easily and speedy.

3.       It is easy to start up the business.

4.        I can open early and close late. The working hours can be flexible.

Disadvantages of being my own boss

1.       I have unlimited liability

2.       I would have to work long hours

3.       I may have limited managerial skills and experiences

4.       I may have  lack of competitiveness, unable to offer deals  and sales 

d   Advantages of working for someone

1.       I would have no liabilities to the business

2.       I may get free training to gain experience and skills

3.       Able to save money and have a guaranteed pay check

4.       I work for standard hours. I don’t have to put in long hours able to take vacation

Disadvantages of working for someone else

1.       The boss can fire you if things get slow

2.       I would have to follow orders

3.       The profits are not yours

4.       You get paid for the time you work

How the video can improve class instruction.

The video will allow the students to understand and appreciate colours. the video was created to re-enforce the importance of colours in our lives. It shows the students some of the areas in life that colour affects. Colours affects everything everywhere.

 Reflection on the video 

A video was created to enhance the students knowledge on the impact colours have in our lives. The piece will be used in the classroom to highlight a few areas of our life that colours affect. It was a challenge to find appropriate photos and audio to use in the video. The video could have been improved using better quality photos and images. Trying to upload the video to the blog was a challenge but it was done it the end. 

How  to use wiki to improve classroom instruction

The wiki can be used to share podcast information, it can be used during a lesson where all the  students can share information in the class setting at the same time. The teacher can share educational information and websites with useful information about different information on a topic for a lesson. Just like the blog the students who did not get a chance to express themselves in the class can share creative information and ideas with the other class members. The wiki can improve interaction among students and teacher.
